The Membership Committee plays a vital role in the growth and strength of the Griswold & Cast Iron Cookware Association (GCICA). It is responsible for recruiting new members, tracking membership trends, and ensuring current members remain engaged and in good standing. The committee oversees the full member experience—from initial sign-up through ongoing participation—helping create a welcoming and organized community.

This includes coordinating onboarding efforts such as welcome communications, access to newsletters and the website, introductions to local chapters, and invitations to events like the annual convention. The committee also monitors dues and payment status while working closely with leadership to identify opportunities for growth and improved retention. Through outreach, promotions, and member engagement initiatives, the Membership Committee helps build a stronger, more connected GCICA.
